Monday Night Marching Rehearsals are Mandatory for all Pitman Band students!

Just like sport teams getting in shape for the upcoming playing season, band students need to prep for marching season. Every Monday Night, students learn how to march in a parade block which includes how to move your feet, how to find your position in line, and how to keep time while marching. They also learn the march music and pep music in instrument sectional groups and then with the entire band.

Students should wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Monday Evenings are typically spent marching around the Pitman parking lot and breaking into sectional groups to work on the music.

Students should bring WATER, their instrument, a snack and comfortable shoes.
